We have multiple opportunity’s available ranging from; Metering Operative, Metering Technician and Technical Specialist that might be just right for you within the Electrical, industrial and Commercial sector!
What you’ll be doing?
Are you an experienced electrical technician or meter installer? Do you have experience in the commercial sector? Or are you an experienced domestic installer looking to upskill into the commercial sector? Either way, we have an opportunity that might be just right for you as an electrical Meter Operative in our Industrial and Commercial team.
Working for EDF you will join the market leader in Electricity where you will install, commission and maintain a range of products such as electrical metering, energy monitoring solutions, telecommunications equipment and control equipment for business customers and the public sector.
A high level of professionalism is required in liaising with customers, whilst onsite installing a range of metering products. You should be equally working safely whilst carrying out works yourself, so a full suite of competencies will be essential. You will be accountable for the safety, quality, compliance and commercial success of your daily activities.

Although being a remote worker, you will also be part of a team environment where one of the main ethics is helping each other, regular face to face team meetings/get togethers are held where company information is shared and talked about in a friendly and relaxed manner. A competitive salary depending on your experience and qualifications, 3% company bonus & up to £5,000 performance incentive scheme and a flexible cash fund £1250 allowance per year. The Skills & Experience you need?
It is essential that you are a qualified Electrician; NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or Equivalent, 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, 2391 Inspect and Test certification, C&G, or equivalent with excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of stake holders and competent IT skills across digital platforms.
