This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join Bakkavor and work directly with one of our most prestigious and strategic customers within the Desserts team.
As part of the Commercial team on this premium account, you will be responsible for specific areas of the Desserts business, delivering the best category management, supporting our strategic direction & protect our market share across the Convenience categories

Commercial Strategy - Supports & helps design commercial strategy. Uses category management techniques to implement the agreed strategy with robust management & communication
Understands Bakkavor retailer strategy and ensures activity is aligned to delivery of the agreed customer business objectives
NPD Commercial Management - Responsible for internal Commercial NPD Project governance (CD tracker/sector scoping), AITB and costing initial evaluation. Generation of customer quote sheets and selling presentations with CC
Market Awareness - Through interaction with Marketing, retailer data and other market intelligence have detailed understanding of specific category performance, retailer / competitor activity and utilise data to generate monthly reports, category review and ad hoc commercial analysis
Negotiation - Be able to identify and conduct basic negotiations to leverage an advantage for Bakkavor across for example, promo funding, case size amends, life agreement, volume management & NPD proposals
Commercial Diligence - Responsible for consolidation and distribution of commercial reporting linked to specific category (Weekly & RF Forecast updates, Bible updates, S&OP updates, SDM, commercial product changes, cost model implementation, promotional scoping, set up & evaluation)
Project Work - In conjunction with line manager work cross functionally on specific projects to deliver a benefit for Bakkavor / retailers
