About the role
We are pleased to announce that we have an exciting opportunity in the branch network for a full time Customer Assistant based at our South Wigston Branch.
We are looking for a confident and helpful individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has great communication skills. The role covers a wide variety of tasks within the branch and requires a flexible approach including a willingness to work at other branches if requested (which travel expenses will be paid). This role is customer facing and involves the daily handling of customer transactions and administration work associated with the smooth running of the branch. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate confidence and enthusiasm when dealing with customers, ideally have experience of handing cash, and customer queries, and are able to work in a busy office environment.
The salary is from £20,265 depending on experience. Working hours are 35 hours and 25 minutes per week, (Monday – Friday 8.55am – 5pm with one hour unpaid for lunch). Saturday morning working is required (minimum 2 Saturdays a month on a rota basis), where a payment of £59.13 will be made, in addition to your salary.
