Commercial Analyst
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum DOE

About the role
As Commercial Analyst for Pet Drugs Online it will be your responsibility to implement the pricing strategy of the business and monitor both the commercial performance of the business and the activity of its direct competitors.
Working with the Commercial Team and Manager, you will be relied upon to drive the profitability of Pet Drugs Online through regular reporting and detailed forensic analysis of sales and margin to identify issues and opportunities, then drive through actions and resolutions.
What are we looking for?
- Maintaining the prices for Pet Drugs Online, Amazon and eBay channels
- Responsible for the reporting and analysis of daily, weekly and monthly business performance.
- Investigating commercial performance trends.
- Deputising for the Commercial Manager as required.
- Assisting with ongoing reporting developments, including KPI’s and benchmarking.
- Promoting change in the business through education on commercial matters.
- Developing new data sources and identifying opportunities for improving efficiency of the team’s work.
- Optimise growth and profitability for the brand by contributing to the company’s pricing strategy.
- Responsible for local financial record keeping for Pet Drugs Online and collaborating with IVCE Finance Team.
- Understanding relevant parts of the management accounts including P&L and stock levels
- Other ad hoc analysis as required.
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
- Complete Personal Development Plan, working towards agreed objectives.
- Undertake training as identified within Personal Development Plans and supervision.
