Job description
Introduction
Our client is looking for candidates who have a understanding and background in commercial or supply chain management.
This is a consultancy role so travel to client and customers sites will be required when needed! However, hybrid working is supported – twice a week in the office.
This role is perfect for candidates who want to progress within their career!
CIPS or MCIPS qualifications or similar are ideal, but candidates will not be disqualified if they do not have this.
You will need to be able to get a security clearance, for this you must hold a British passport/nationality for at least 5 + years.
Management Consultants will be part of a team working with our more senior and experienced Consultants. Our client will provide you with excellent training opportunities, on-going coaching, along with mentoring and peer support throughout your career.
Key responsibilities
- Working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver excellent results for clients.
- Supporting clients through complex tendering processes
- Engage with suppliers that will provide the goods or services.
- Facilitating workshops to understand the business needs.
- Providing contract management, supplier management or commercial advice to clients
- Preparing reports and presenting to a range of client stakeholders.
Skills & experience
- Client Engagement, build good and lasting relationships with clients at all levels in a business environment.
- Technical Delivery, have experience in specifying tenders and selecting service providers.
- CIPS accreditation or similar is highly desirable.
- Supported the development and delivery of marketing campaigns or promotional events.
- Ideally you have experience of contributing to the sale of management consulting work.
