An exciting opportunity to join the successful Commercial and Employment Team, working for one of the largest unitary authorities in the country, in one of the most sought-after regions in the UK.
Join us as a Commercial Lawyer, on a permanent basis, with the ability to work predominantly remotely, from anywhere in the UK. Applications will be considered for both full and part-time working, including flexible working patterns.
We are actively seeking to recruit an experienced commercial Lawyer into our highly respected Commercial and Employment team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join our service of lawyers and to make a difference through supporting on a range of exciting and innovative major projects in Cornwall, such as Shared Prosperity Fund, Towns Deals, Levelling Up and a range of renewable energy projects, such as Wavehub, Geothermal and Biomethane.
Our work is varied and includes:
- Major infrastructure projects
- Joint ventures and development agreements
- Subsidy control, funding and loan financing
- Housing and economic development
- Contract and procurement advice
- Drafting contracts for services, supplies and works
- Aspects of employment law including TUPE, pensions and advice on restructuring services.
The team advises the Council and other external clients such as academies, town and parish councils and other public bodies.
We are looking for a talented individual who is highly motivated and can develop strong client relationships. The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial lawyer.
