About the role
We are recruiting for a Commercial Insurance Apprentice to be all areas of commercial insurance, supervising day-to-day underwriting operations, adjusting schedules, problem solving and giving a fantastic start to your career. Learn about the industry whilst completing the apprentice programme.
Overview of duties
- Assist in scheduling client/insurer underwriting meetings
- Analysing information to communicate with insurers and prepare for client meetings
- Work closely with senior management in department and business unit-wide initiatives
- Develop a strong and collaborative team relationship with other departments
Person specification
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Confidence with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
- High level inter personal skills to build relationships, internally and externally
- Communicate with stakeholders, virtually, face to face and in writing
Education and/or Experience:
- A Levels or equivalent
- GCSE in English and Maths
