Commercial Gas & Oil Engineer | Engineer can be based in Reading, Slough, Bracknell or surrounding areas | Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Our client is a passionate, successful and enthusiastic family-owned business specialising in commercial heating and air conditioning servicing, maintenance and new installs. They work in commercial and industrial environments across the south of England.
Due to continued growth in the heating division, the company is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas & Oil Engineer to join their well-established team of field engineers.
The company has a driven and experienced operation support team based at their office in Winnersh, who skillfully support day to day operations, planning your day, keeping clients updated with ETA’s and making sure you have the parts and specialist equipment required to complete your work.
Are you the right person for the job?
- ACS qualified in CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1A, ICPN1
- OFTEC certificate
- Qualifications in, or experience with Boosters, Oil, Steam, LPG, Catering, AHU’s, Air Heaters, Heat Pumps, Electrical, BMS, IPAF and PASMA are highly desirable
- Excellent awareness of current health and safety regulations
- Capable of working efficiently, effectively and diligently without the need for close supervision
- Passionate about completing their work to a high standard
- Have a professional approach and great communication skills
- Be flexible to support a paid “on-call” rota
What will your role look like?
- Servicing, general maintenance, fault finding and repairs on boilers, mechanical and water heaters in a range of commercial plant rooms
- Submitting detailed electronic reports to ensure our operations support team are able to communicate clearly and effectively with our clients
- To identify areas for additional works within and outside of the specified contractual requirements
