Commercial Finance Analyst London, England
Job description
After a year of exceptional growth, we are looking for a fantastic number cruncher to join our Finance team to help drive our agenda to add real value to the business, while keeping everyone in check!
Some of what the job involves:
- Business partner senior stakeholders, to identify any risks or opportunities that might have a financial impact
- Support on ad hoc analysis to deliver meaningful financial insights on business performance ranging from complex modelling to performance reporting that will drive business direction and decisions
- Design and maintain reporting in Power BI to monitor KPIs impacting sales, margin and overheads, agreeing requirements with stakeholders
- Support the Finance Business partner on scenario modelling strategic investments and key projects across Tech, Product & Operations
- Track project spend vs plan and provide relevant commentary
- Ownership of the New Shack investment appraisal model used to assess the commercial viability of all Retail investments
- Support the Finance Business partner to deliver the annual 5-year plan refresh
What we would like you to bring to the table:
- Part Qualified Accountant working towards CIMA/ACCA
- Relevant demonstrable experience from within a similar role
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of stakeholder management
- A keen problem solver with a desire to seek continual improvements
- Proactive, natural curiosity to investigate and understand the so what
- Strong ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and passion for the Loaf brand
- An adaptable individual who is a collaborative team player but is also capable of working autonomously
- Use of ERP systems is highly desirable
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be great
- Power BI
