Commercial Finance Analyst
Job description
We need you to have:
- Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- Mathematics and/or statistics A level or equivalent at B or above
- Proven experience in an accounting or FP&A/Data environment, preferably in an analytical role
- Experience in the use of business intelligence packages (e.g. Power BI)
- Knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX is advantageous

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global business services organisation with more than 43 000 employees in over 100 countries. With year-on-year growth, our Finance Business Partner is seeking to find a Commercial Finance Analyst to assist him in his business areas.
- Financial forecasting – working with operations to build a financial forecast, driving growth and margin accretion;
- Managing month-end close – performance of month-end close activities within the business and clearly reporting results to country management, including participating in post-month-end business line calls;
- Budgeting
- Working capital management;
- Cost control;
- Capex and investment (including post-investment) appraisals
- Create insight from data – e.g. proactively looking at various datasets to “join the dots”
- Build, automate, and maintain usable dashboard-style reports
- Support for modeling of Operational Reporting & ad Hoc Analysis
- Sales data analysis
- Ensure accurate upload and reconciliation of monthly financial and operational metrics

The position will predominantly be based in Manchester, Hexagon Towers, with flexible working-from-home days available. Travel to operational sites will be required from time to time.
