Our Service Sales department has a vacancy for a Commercial Coordinator within the Service Sales team to work with customers new and existing to develop and retain service contracts of Bender UK equipment in over 400 hospitals across the UK.
The Commercial Coordinator is responsible for renewals and tenders:
Renewals:
- Responsible for the timely production and distribution of accurate service contract renewal offers to our customers.
- Contacting customers prior to renewal to discuss requirements, establish if there is any additional equipment and upselling any additional services as a result.
- Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors to improve pricing and terms of business
- Effectively managing sales and margins to achieve/exceed contract profitability
- Attend contract review meetings with Coordinators to sustain strong relationships, ensure the contract is being implemented and managed effectively to retain business.
- Collating all documentation, completing all necessary questions within the renewal and responding to any questions raised through the renewal process. Attending any meetings as required
Tenders:
- Prepare and submit tender proposals in accordance to tender specification/deadlines, arrange site surveys where necessary, setting up the account on SF, setting up the agreement, obtaining asset lists.
- Reviewing the specification and ensuring we can adhere to requirements.
- Negotiating with sub-contractors to improve pricing and terms of business.
- Collating all documentation, completing all necessary questions within the tender and responding to any questions raised through the tender process. Attending any meetings as required.
Other Duties:
· Review new installations on the CRM system and liaise with project team
· Prepare quotes for Sales Managers and internal sales
· Contacting customers post installation regarding new service contracts and additions to existing service contracts
· Develop and maintain customers and supplier relationships to ensure commercial opportunities are developed
· Answering and resolving customer queries that arise
· Preparing customer documentation, setting up contracts, generating quotations, order processing, raising PO’s and associated administrative requirements
· Communicating daily with project team and sales managers
· Contributing to social media and marketing initiatives for the service department.
· Handling incoming enquiries from customers and Bender medical sales team
· Negotiate financial terms of the contract and liaising with internal Finance team
· Amendments to any established contracts including uplifts
Person profile:
The ideal candidate will have sales experience in a similar environment and exceptional customer service skills. They will be proactive, have excellent administrative and organisational skills, be able to organise and prioritise their own workload. They will also be keen to promote cross functional working and demonstrate a one team approach.
Computer literacy is a must, and knowledge of using CRM systems, such as Salesforce or similar, would be beneficial.
