We are looking for an organised, motivated individual who is experienced in supporting the development of customer facing services to join our high-performing and supportive team.
It is an exciting time to work with us as we further develop our chargeable waste services, and look at new opportunities for income generation, with a specific focus on ensuring compliance with the Welsh Government Non-Domestic Recycling Regulations.
You will support the management, development and administration of the Council's Chargeable Waste Services, including the expansion of our existing services and customer base within the Swansea area.
You will assist in maximising opportunities, liaising with customers and other stakeholders, promoting and selling the available services. You will be responsible for maintaining administrative systems, developing agreements, documenting processes, managing data and producing performance reports.
You will be a team player, organised and a great communicator who is experienced in supporting customer facing services. You will preferably have relevant experience of providing high quality customer services and support, in a sales and marketing related capacity. You will also be adept at developing and maintaining good working relationships.
Experienced in managing service and contract queries from customers, you will have developed and managed customer databases, monitored performance and produced relevant reports. We are therefore looking for someone who has excellent administrative and IT skills, who can effectively use Microsoft applications.
This role is based in the Baling Plant, Llansamlet and you will be required to report to the office 5 days a week.
