We’re investing in building an outstanding programme team and are looking for a motivated Senior Commercial Analytics and Data Science Consultant to join us.

You will be responsible for the design and delivery of analytics and insight to drive the direction and strategy of this major programme along with responsibility for the programme value case and measurement framework.

What you’ll do

  • Evaluate BA's commercial products, pricing (with the Pricing team) and digital experience to drive the design and success of the programme
  • Deliver measurement to track the effectiveness of the programme as it moves to delivery
  • Become an influential member in the analytics strategy for the future of the programme and beyond
  • Become an expert on data and business processes within the Commercial and Customer areas. Understand the data lineage and ensuring the use of the data is appropriate and has integrity
  • Identify and explore opportunities to use new data to solve problems and work with the Data team to make this more widely available
  • Clearly communicate insight through presentations, workshops and conversations with key members of the programme team and senior stakeholders

What we are looking for

  • A proactive, analytically creative and collaborative individual
  • Advanced analytical skills including the ability to apply a range of analytics, visualisation and data science techniques to solve business problems
  • Experience working on value demonstration of initiatives for business case submission
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of large projects/work requests successfully from start to finish and delivers in a timely manner
