Commercial Analyst
Location: London, Speechmark (Blended home working)
Salary: Competitive + Vodafone Benefits
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri). (Part time/ Job Share/ Full Time considered)
This role is about creating and using best in class insight to inform business strategy. Covering ad-hoc reporting and strategic deep dive analysis improving the commercial performance of the Consumer business. This role will be responsible for analysis of the consumer base, channel performance, usage, and revenue, to inform and recommend future actions to best serve customer satisfaction, value, and retention.
This is an exciting position, working in a newly established but highly experienced commercial team. The right candidate will have a natural flare for numbers & data but also be able to connect the commercials to the business strategy and collaborate with wide range of stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
Deliver best in class insight by taking a business question, analysing data, and feeding back answers and actionable recommendations to feed into the business strategy.- Help drive data quality and best in practise coding and analysis, by sharing knowledge cross chapter.
- Look to other insight areas to understand the consumer better and bring context to analysis where required
- Support the overall budget planning
- Have an eye for detail, and an ability to quality assure the data you work with as well as the results output, to ensure we’re using as robust insight as possible.
- Support business cases for new propositions and changes.
- Support ad-hoc requests and analysis within the wider team
Who are we looking for?
Track record of delivering customer insight from data- Good knowledge of SQL required with knowledge of other languages (Python /SAS/R beneficial)
- Good knowledge of Data Visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Ability to find strategic insights from data and present in a clear simple way to senior management
