Job purpose
- To Provide efficient & effective removal & collection services to JPS Business Assets & Property Department Clients.
- Provide full support to the Collections Management & Valuations Team, additionally other Departments across the Business requiring support.
- Plan & Arrange Off-Site Sales away from JPS Sites, Auction Set Up & Preparation of Assets through to Auction completion.
Duties and responsibilities
· General operations providing collection & removal services, working under instruction provided by Collections & Valuers Team.
· Undertake the safe handling of All Business Assets, Goods & Stock, Landlord Property on behalf of JPS Clients & Customers.
· Provide Full Collection Services loading/unloading of Valued Assets using JPS Transport or Approved Contractor Transport Haulier.
· Process & Set Up of planned Auctions, Various Assets, Stock Inventories housed at both Business Assets Salerooms & Off-Site Auctions.
· Required to follow & comply with JPS Company Policies, Health & Safety, Client/Customer Confidentiality, GDPR Data Protection Policy.
· Provide & Maintain a safe working environment across JPS Sites & Off-Site Locations for All Staff & Visitors to the Occupied Business.
· Support other JPS Sites with collection & delivery needs departmentally across the business when required.
· Populate & fill out Collection Notes & Delivery Notes reporting of any discrepancies, missing items & damages.
· Ensure all assets are referenced correctly and secured
· Represent John Pye in a professional manner when working with Clients or related contacts.
Qualifications;
Driving Licence
No specific qualifications are required however a positive can do attitude & excellent customer service are essential.
Working as part of the team contributing to the day to day requirements, using initiative attention to detail.
Working Conditions;
The role is based from John Pyes Nottingham Head Office, flexibility is required at times when short notice given to travel nationwide.
Hours of work will vary on a week by week basis, early starts & late finishes. Sometimes required to stay away overnight when required.
Required to Drive JPS Vans with Loads & Pool Vehicles to & from Sites, also Vehicles to be collected from business locations nationwide
JPS Workwear & PPE Provided to worn at all times excluding driving hours.
Required to operate forklifts on or offsite (Subject to holding the relevant license)
Physical requirements
The daily duties do have repetitive physical demands, requiring a reasonably high level of physical fitness. Manual Labour & heavy lifting throughout Collections & Removals will apply most days.
