Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5.30pm

The Role
As a Collections/Financial Support Specialist, you will be responsible for dealing with telephone enquiries from customers who are experiencing financial difficulty, finding appropriate solutions for their circumstances and delivering exceptional customer experience. You will have exceptional communication and empathy skills, being able to deeply qualify their circumstances and needs whilst also building relationships with customers.
- Having great conversations with customers, helping them find a suitable solution to their financial situation
- Gathering relevant information from multiple systems to shape and inform decisions that support customers in financial difficulties
- Displaying compassion and understanding towards customers in vulnerable situations
- Setting up plans and working with other specialist teams to support the customer.
- Recording conversations and administrative actions within relevant systems
- Reviewing processes which could be automated or enhanced to improve the customer and business experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working for a bank in a similar financial support/financial assistance/collection & recoveries role
- Excellent communication and listening skills, both verbal and written, for effectively interacting with customers
- Flexibility and ability to handle a variety of tasks and changing situations
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices, such as budgeting, saving, and investing
- A strong desire to help customers improve their financial health and achieve their goals
