Hours: 37hr x3 positions, 31hr x2 positions hours per week between Mon-Sun, working between 17:00 and 07:00

There are vacancies for (31 hours and 37 hours) night shift.
3x 37hour fixed term (FT) Mon-Sat 17:00 to 06:30 night shift(4 days out of 7 on a rotational day off)
1x 31hour fixed term (PT) Mon, Tues 19:00-05:00 & Sat 21:00-07:00 night shift(3 days out of 7 fixed duty with set days off)
1x 31hour fixed term (PT) Thurs, Fri 19:00-05:00 & Sat 21:00-07:00 night shift(3 days out of 7 fixed duty with set days off)
Duty Content:
FT: Monday to Friday Content: NDC network run, loose loading a 3.5t vehicle, driving upto 4 hours each way to the National Distribution Centre in Northampton, unloading and reloading to return to the Carlisle Mail Centre to strict timings. This duty involves driving a minimum of 460 miles per night.
PT only duties: Saturday night shift 21:00-07:00: soley unloading and reloading of multiple trailers and distributing these though a series of lifts into the Mail Centre, Sorting Large parcels and full trays to Delivery Office level, Pre-Loading 7.5t and 18t Distribution vehicles, organising the storage of mails to delivery office feeder lanes for smooth despatching at 07:00.

A bit about you

- Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
