Job description
This is a really exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to develop their experience and career with a wide variety of Clients as well as having lots of flexibility to work remotely!
Our Client is not your typical HR Consultants, they work collaboratively with small businesses across a variety of sectors to provide outsourced HR support. Their clients think of them as an extension of their team so you get to build great working relationships, just like you would in an inhouse role. They don’t only advise clients, they also get to do the work and this makes the role truly generalist. This might mean you are focussing on recruitment one day and change management, employee relations or reward the next. Their Clients are entrepreneurs and creative thinkers so they are ready to push the boundaries of traditional HR approaches, while still keeping their practices legally compliant.
We are looking for an HR advisor who is ready to step up into a Junior Business Partner/HR Consultant role. You will have a solid grounding in employee relations work but be looking for more exposure to HR projects and to build on your stakeholder management experience. Reporting into one of the experienced HR Consultants, you will support across all areas of HR work for a specific group of clients. You will also work with the founder and your manager to develop and support a new HR service line being launched in 2023.
You will be part of an experienced and supportive team of Consultants, meaning there is plenty of opportunity for learning and development. This is a varied, generalist role and a great steppingstone toward becoming an HR Business Partner or Consultant.
You will be based in Buckinghamshire, with work from home options, attending client sites as needed. All of the team have the autonomy to manage their own schedule around work and any personal commitments. The majority of clients are based in London but there may on occasion be a requirement to travel to other location for occasional meetings.
Requirements:
- You’ll be used to advising on a broad range of employee relations topics
- Commercial acumen. You’ll be able to solve people management challenges while meeting business needs. You’ll also be interested in a career in HR consulting
- Self-motivated. You’ll be working flexibly and often remotely from the team, but with regular contact.
- A problem solver, able to spot patterns in issues that arise and suggest solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
- A passion for delivering a high level of customer service and to doing great HR work.
