Job description
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including buses, box trucks, dump trucks, and limousines
- Transport passengers to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatchers
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles including buses, box trucks, dump trucks, and limousines
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This position requires flexibility in working hours as bus drivers may be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays. The ability to communicate effectively with passengers is essential for providing excellent customer service. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
