Home-Start Richmondshire is a family support charity in Catterick Garrison, DL9 4QL. Our goal is to recognise that being a parent/caregiver has never been easy. Every Home-Start volunteer is trained to work alongside parents and children predominantly under 7 years old to overcome the challenges they are facing. We work with parents/caregivers to build on their strengths and give them the support that they tell us they need. We offer no judgement – just compassionate, confidential help and expert support..

Job Title: Co-ordinator reporting to Scheme Manager
Salary: NJC scale SO1: From SCP 23 £30,151 FTE (£18,335 for 22.5 hours)
Hours: 22.5 hrs per week
Responsible to – Scheme Manager
Contracts: Permanent
Location: Home-Start Richmondshire, Office 4, IPS Innovate, Chartermark Way, Catterick Garrison, DL9 4QL

Following successful National Lottery funding, Home-Start Richmondshire are looking to recruit staff who will support families over a large geographical area.
Home-Start Richmondshire comes under the umbrella organisation of Home-Start UK, a leading family charity with trained volunteers and expert support, helping families with young children in communities across the UK.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person experienced in working with parents/caregivers, who recognises that children are our priority. You will be key to offering support to families helping to build on their strengths and overcome the challenges they are facing. You will work with and train volunteers who are able to offer non-judgemental support to parents.
