CNC Turner
Encocam engineering are recruiting for a new CNC Turner for our Machine shop in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
We manufacture the metal parts that are used in crash test dummies (ATD) and leg impactors (aPLI), so these are small batches and one off’s. All assembly is done on site after inspection and testing in the lab.
Key tasks and responsibilities of the role are:
· CNC Turning for the production of various products for internal and external customers.
· Programming, programme rectification, setting and operating of Turning Centres ( Fanuc
& Haas controls).
· Reading and correctly interpreting engineering documentation.
· Optimising production techniques to increase efficiency.
· Operating manual lathes.
You will have good turning experience in Fanuc controls and it would also be advantageous to have knowledge of PowerMill CAD/CAM software.
