Job description
How many sub con machine shops pay their programmers overtime and also work a 4 day working week?! This is not to be missed! Up to a £55,000 salary with plenty of overtime paid at time and a half... That’s certainly going to start the second half of the year on the right foot!
You will be working in a modern sub con machine shop, creating programs for the latest DMG and Matsuura 5 axis machines. These high spec parts are produced and supplied to one of the leading names in F1. This role will challenge you to the max, so bring you’re ‘A-game’ and the days will fly by.
The Role;
This is a position where you will be given Autonomy to make decisions, so naturally with that responsibility you must be credible. You will be in daily contact with the machinist’s that are running the programs so being on hand to answer any questions is a necessity. On a daily basis, you can expect to be defining the manufacturing strategy for a variety of components working with materials including Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium and Steel whilst engaging closely with the Machine Shop team to optimise each manufacturing process.
The key bits;
Whether you currently work in the F1/ motorsport industry, or are looking to get involved, as long as you have that NX or Hypermill experience then we would love to speak to you. Immediately available contractors will also be considered but you must be able to hit the ground running on NX.
