CNC Programmer – Permanent – Days - West Midlands
L & C Consulting are recruiting with a well-known and respected Manufacturing company in Darlaston for a new CNC Programmer to join their large, modern thinking engineering team. This new permanent position will suit an experienced CNC Programmer / CNC Engineer / Production Engineer looking for a role on a Monday – Friday day shift (early finish Friday’s).
Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
· 3 & 5 Axis Offline Programmer
· Develop SOP (including Lean Systems)
· Leading / working on CI programs
Experience of working in a similar role is essential and you will ideally have experience of working in automotive and / or aerospace machine shop environments. You will be hard working and flexible as well as technically astute and able to work under pressure.
It is also advantageous to have experience of Edgecam / Hypermill and with working with Hurco & Mazak.
You’ll be used to working independently and from complex, engineering drawings. A good level of education is also desirable, ideally including with Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
The Darlaston site is fully accessible from around the West Midlands including Cannock, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Walsall, Lichfield, Dudley, Sandwell, Halesowen etc
