Adnet are a professional Sub- Con precision machining company working within various sectors including aerospace, metrology, rheology, semi-conductor and oil & gas. Adnet have a small team that work to tight deadlines and offers job variety at a fast pace. A healthy and growing order book means it is the perfect time to recruit for the CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to help with the expansion.
The Role
We require a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to assist in our busy milling section.
As CNC Milling Engineer, you have:
- A time served machining apprenticeship
- Good knowledge and experience in setting and operating milling machines.
- Experience in editing would be desirable.
- Experience using Fanuc(G-Code)controls to assist in running our milling section(desirable)
- A good knowledge of cutting data is desirable to machine aluminum and stainless steel for the Aerospace, oil and gas and high technical industries.
Location: Gloucester, Easy access from M5
Salary: £13-£15 Per hour (Neg DOE) + Quarterly Bonus
£2000 signing bonus paid over a 12month period.
25 days holiday + bank holidays
39 hour working week (7.30am - 4.00pm Mon-Thurs, 7.30am - 3.00pm Fri) Overtime readily available(Between 4-8 hours available most weeks)
The Candidate
Qualifications: Time served apprentice, Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering (level 3) or equivalent
Useful experience & knowledge
- Working within Sub-con precision machine shop.
- Problem solving and innovation.
- Willingness to help the team to achieve good efficiencies.
- Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team.
- Work proactively.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in Turning would be advantageous.

Salary: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
