CNC Turner/Machinist
A rare opportunity exists to join a specialist precision engineering company, with a focus on automotive and aircraft restoration.
The CNC Turner/Machinist will have the opportunity to use a range of equipment/machines including Doosan, XYZ, Hardinge and Mori Seiki. Work ranging from 2 axis turning to 3 and 4 axis milling.
All machines use Fanuc controls, using PCMI, USB or RS232 connection.
A mixture of hand programming + Fusion and Hypermill suites for CADCAM will be required.
The ideal candidate will have some ability with a CADCAM system and have the ability to cad model parts when necessary.
Materials used include; Aluminium, Alloy Steels, Titanium, Inconel and various Polymer Plastics.
Industries supplied by the business is varied, ranging from the Vintage/Classic Car sector to Motorsport, Aircraft and bespoke Furniture related parts.
The ideal candidate would need to be reasonably independent at times, due to the size of the business, but all training needed will be provided for the right person.
