Recra is working in partnership with a prestigious engineering company. We are looking for a CNC Turning Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
Brief Overview Of the Job Role:
The CNC turning manager will take full responsibility and cover all elements from Health & Safety, Quality, Productivity, Training, Machine utilization & Employment Relations.

The CNC turning manager will take full responsibility and cover all elements from Health & Safety, Quality, Productivity, Training, Machine utilization & Employment Relations.
Main Duties Include:
- Full responsibility for the department - (EHS, Quality, Productivity).
- Effective running of all plant, resources, and equipment, ensuring targets are met.
- Continuous improvement/adoption of best practices.
- Support on testing requirements and customer audits.
- Ensure that the department is working on Quality & Company Procedures.
- Maintain KPIs for the department.
Desired Skills And Qualifications:
- Must be a time-served Engineer or have at least 5 years in an Engineering role - with experience in running a CNC Machining Facility.
- Experience with Fanuc Programming language.
- Must have Management / Supervisory Experience.
- Excellent understanding of Lean Principles and ideally with formal qualifications and previous experience in implementation.
- Problem-Solving Skills.
- Ideally with a Leadership qualification (ILM, NVQ, Certificate In Management, or similar).
- Effective communication & leadership skills.
Hours Of Work: Mon-Fri 7.30 am to 4.30 pm
