Newquay Town Council is seeking a part time Communications & Marketing Officer to lead on promoting our activities, projects and initiatives to residents, visitors and the wider community. This will include creating promotional materials and updates (across all media platforms, including social media and web pages), writing and distributing press releases and crafting new content. Your role will also be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, formulating pricing strategies, and maximising income opportunities.
You will create and deliver compelling and engaging content for our community, demonstrating a strong writing ability, grammatical knowledge, and a flair for creative design.
You will manage all our social media content and stay up to date with emerging social media networks/tools.
You will present a positive, dynamic and professional image of the Council to the residents and visitors alike. More information on the role can be found via the Recruitment Pack below.
