What’s the Job?
Responsible for contract, relationship, critical path, GOK and rights management for Castore’s commercial club & federation assets across Football, Rugby, Cricket & Tennis.
Crucial to the role is fostering and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout allocated assets, including but not limited to day-to-day management of key asset stakeholders across commercial, marketing and the professional teams.
The Club & Federation Business Manager will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships at all levels of the organisation.
With the support of the Club & Federation Business Executive, they will be responsible for developing relationships and subsequent commercial opportunities with assets, including other sponsors of Castore’s commercial club & federation assets.
Ultimately, the Club & Federation Business Manager will support the Head of Sports Marketing to deliver key Sports Marketing activities, commercial growth and sporting campaigns to achieve partnership, business and brand goals.
What will I do?
Core
- Allocated assets (+ future assets where applicable) contract management and delivery.
- Ownership and management of the product development critical path.
- Work with internal marketing, operational and sponsorship functions to deliver sponsorship rights across all brand and commercial activations.
Day-to-Day
- Day to day key relationship management of key stakeholders at commercial clubs and federations.
- Identify and achieve additional sales opportunities, such as teamwear, via affiliated programmes and asset avenues.
- Management and development of Club & Federation Business Executive.
- Act as the liaison between the assets, agencies and internal teams ensuring all parties’ requirements are met.
- Liaise with product design & development functions to identify and develop new products.
- Liaise closely with Head of Sports Marketing to identify & deliver player endorsement opportunities within the portfolio.
- Generate incremental revenue streams through commercial club & federation assets’ respective partner portfolios.
- You will be required to travel to and visit portfolio
Reporting
- Frequent Internal report on key activity such as Team product retail sell through, re-buy sales and overall sponsored asset and total sport performance.
- Working closely with sales team ensure provision of key information and associated materials to support licensed growth within wholesale accounts for respective/relevant Club or federation.
Candidate Profile:
You will be experienced within a Sports Marketing or Sports Business Management environment/ function, currently working at an equivalent level or looking to take the next step in your career. Preferably, you’ll have experience in the sporting environment industry which will help you hit the ground running, but this isn’t essential as an interest in the sector, transferable skills and a readiness to learn will also stand you in good stead.
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience

- Understanding of key Marketing functions
- Availability to travel as required from the business
Desired, not essential:
- Familiar with sports manufacturing
- Experience in working in, or with a retail environment/function
