Avaliable Job Today Role - cloud SQL Server Engineer

Location – London (onsite)

Mode of Hiring – Contract (6 months)

Job spec-

• Excellent command over PowerShell (scripting language) as the candidate needs to maintain and develop existing PowerShell scripts and processes which bank is utilizing from several years.
• Candidate must have working knowledge of old and new versions/editions of Microsoft SQL Server (SQL 2012/SQL 2016/SQL 2019 etc.) as these versions needs to be tested out before being pushed to bank database environment
• Including T-SQL scripting; fault diagnosis and resolution; in depth knowledge of the optimizer and engine; performance tuning
• Candidate must be having extensive knowledge of supporting SQL Servers technical issues as he is the last line of support before bank involves the OEM (Microsoft in this case)

Job Type: Temporary contract
