We also transform the way our clients use technology in delivering assets to our clients across a wide range of business processes. Working with industry leading, alliance partners across architecture, development, and multiple other technologies, we interact with all technology platforms and provide tangible technology delivery at scale.We are building a suite of connected and intelligent capabilities, adopting new and emerging technologies, and using the latest Agile, Cloud and DevOps approaches to maximise our effectiveness along with client value from public cloud offerings
Skills and experience
Experience of working for an IT Service Provider/Managed Services Provider ideally delivering cloud based services or infrastructure services and management
Proven ability to distil complex and varied data into information that can be utilised to manage and measure performance
Experience of using cloud cost management tools, IT cost management strategies, models and processes
Knowledge of Public Cloud offerings, consumption models and billing concepts
Experienced with cloud budget management processes, cloud cost analytics and cloud cost optimization
Experience in process engineering to establish new processes and improve existing processes with a metrics driven approach
Supporting account growth and defining new cloud offerings for go to market
Ability and willingness to travel for Client or internal related meetings
About the Role
We're looking for a number of Cloud FinOps Managers, Engineers and Analysts to join our growing Cloud Managed FinOps team. After applying, our specialist team of Cloud experts will talk you through your experience and help align you to the best role for your skill set.
Role Description and Responsibilities
FinOps Managers
This role will create and improve FinOps processes along with tooling development to deliver cloud financial wisdom to the firm's clients.
Required to establish the cloud managed services FinOps team & proposition within Operate.
Establishing processes for cost planning and management, cost reporting / visibility, cost accountability and ownership, cost optimization.
Lead a team of FinOps Analysts who will collaborate with Engineering teams, Finance, Service Management, Application teams along with key client stakeholders. This is a new growing area with large opportunities and impacts to the firm and our clients.
FinOps Engineers
Cloud FinOps engineer will work within a team of FinOps engineers who will collaborate with SRE and Run Engineering teams, Finance, Service Management, Application teams along with key client stakeholders. This is a new growing area with large opportunities and impacts to the firm and our clients. The role will deliver improved FinOps processes along with tooling development to deliver cloud financial wisdom to the firm's clients.
Contribute to the cloud cost management education, processes & tooling
Implementation cost optimisation within the clients or teams across multi cloud platforms
Supporting ongoing client service review, reporting and recommendation needs on a monthly basis
FinOps Analysts
Cloud Finops Analysts will work within the FinOps team who work with our engineering teams and the clients to take all inbound information on the cloud estate and business needs to help provide a holistic view of the client estate and opportunities for improvements, detailed understanding and optimisation.
Perform data analysis of our Cloud consumption across all client Cloud estates and all cloud technologies
Work with other Cloud FinOps team members to provide cost forecasting across the client Cloud estates considering proposed/planned changes, new workloads planned to be cloud hosted in the future, recommendations and optimisation opportunities.
Build & deliver reporting & dashboarding for stakeholders to provide a view on capacity trends, plans and actual costs vs budget and the drivers of the spend and peaks in usage.
