Principle Cloud Architect - up to £800 per day inside ir35 - 6 months (extension likely) - Gloucestershire - predominately onsite working - one stage interview - DV clearance required - Sector: Aerospace & Defence

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Principal Cloud Architect focusing on AWS with a world leader in aerospace technologies. This role would support some of the country's most cutting-edge space programmes and allow you to work with projects at the forefront of national security.

Candidate must hold a current DV clearance on submission.

Responsible:

• Working with stakeholders to design complex AWS and hybrid-cloud systems.
• Heading cross discipline teams to design and build complex solutions in AWS.
• Take the lead on digital transformation and AWS tooling use both internally within the company and within our customers.
• Automating system deployment, operation and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling.

Core Skills:

• Amazon Web Services Certified with experience of designing, deploying, and administering cloud-based solutions.
• Experience of several AWS tools from the Database, Analytics & Machine Learning product families
• Experience of operating AWS Landing Zones such as Control Tower for Organisation Management
• Experience of automating tasks using AWS CloudFormation, CKD, SDK or Terraform
• Experience of designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IPv4 Networking, including Subnetting, OSPF Routing, VLANs and VPNs

Desirable Skills:

• Additional experience with GCP or Azure
• Experience of administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
