It is an exciting and challenging time for Domestic Supply Flight, Royal Air Force Marham as we continue to embark on a major transformation of the Station which includes the arrival of the F35B Aircraft Fleet.
Due to retirement we are looking to fill the vacant position with a vibrant enthusiastic Storekeeper to join our professional team.

Job description
Domestic Supply Flight is responsible for all Domestic Accommodation Stores, such as Office and Accommodation, Furniture as well as a wide range of Clothing Requirements for the overall support to Royal Air Force Marham, for exercise periods and to meet operational effectiveness. As a Domestic Supply Flight Clothing Storekeeper, you will be responsible for the receipt, issue and safe custody of all assets held within the Domestic Supply Flight Warehousing structure. Further Supply Accounting will include transactions on the Military Joint Deployed Inventory IT System as well as using Manual Accounting tools. This vacancy is in support of the Domestic Supply Flight Clothing Team who have the responsibility to support the Station and Parented Locations for all Clothing requirements for Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army and MOD Employed Civilian personnel. The position is both static and mobile. A strong and pleasant customer service skill is essential, and the position will involve manual handling.
Person specification
To provide the customer with a prompt and quality service. This will include the issue and return of assets and consumables from over the counter, such as Specified Branch/Trade clothing, Dress Uniforms, Ceremonial Accoutrements and, Personal Protective Equipment. The receipt, dispatch and location of assets including warehousing duties is essential to sustain the mechanism to support the service provided. A responsibility is mandated to Safety, Health, Environmental, Fire, Risk Assessments and required Competences. On the Job Training will be provided and recorded. Certain required competences may require attending external course. As a Domestic Supply Flight Storekeeper, you will be available to assist in other areas within the Flight and any other duties as directed by your Line Manager.
Full British Driving License – preferred.
