Job description
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker to join the Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service in Fife, based within the Glenrothes Community Mental Health Team.
The post is predominantly within the Adult Mental Health Service working with people aged 18-65 years experiencing mental health problems which impact on their occupational functioning and performance. You will work mostly with patients in community based settings, and any other areas as directed.
You will be responsible under the direction of Occupational Therapists for carrying out prescribed interventions on both an individual basis or within a group. You will be expected to work autonomously, being able to manage and prioritise the many clinical and non clinical demands placed on them.
You will work alongside senior staff in supporting and implementing service developments in line with National Strategies and Drivers.
You will be joining our Occupational Therapy Service as it embarks on a programme of change and development to meet the needs of the population of Fife. You will have the opportunity to support the service to deliver an occupation and outcomes based service, focused on recovery, rehabilitation and what matters to individuals that works collaboratively with statutory and community partners.
