Clinical Research Associate II (CRA II)

The UK Clinical Operations team is the largest Clinical Development hub in Europe for AbbVie, joining as a CRA II, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of industry-leading technology, risk-based monitoring approach and work across multiple therapy areas such as; Immunology, Neuroscience, Oncology, Virology, Eye care and Other Specialty areas.
Job Objective:
As a CRA II you will have full site management responsibility, to oversee site compliance, performance and trends. Use critical thinking skills and experience to plan on-site, off-site visits and using a Risk Based Monitoring Approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned sites and study(s), to ensure the successful execution of site management and monitoring deliverables including; monitoring, identify site issues to develop solutions and audit readiness
- Provide local regulatory requirement expertise, according to clinical study agreements
- May be responsible for being the country point of contact for CROs for an assigned study. May participate/lead in global/local task forces and initiatives.
- Independently researching and staying abreast of new and evolving guidelines.
Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelors or equivalent degree, health related (e.g. Medical, Scientific, Nursing, Pharmacy) preferred
- Site Monitoring Experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex issues from multiple perspectives and drive smart decision making
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate persuasively and with clarity, flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements, resourcefulness and creativity. Demonstrated proactive and positive team player
- Exhibits strong planning and organizational skills and high level of flexibility in a dynamic environment with competing projects and deadlines
- Demonstrated business ethics and integrity
