We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic experienced hospital pharmacist to join our amazing Clinical Pharmacy Leadership team based at Salford Royal.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to work across boundaries to deliver all aspects of excellent pharmaceutical care, with a focus on key areas like de-prescribing, delirium and dementia.
We will support you to develop both your clinical, leadership and research skills.

We need your help to shape services for patients within aging and complex medicine and support the development of our pharmacy team. .
You will work with both Pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and ensure medicines safety.
You will be patient facing active prescriber, leading your team, ensuring medicines reconciliation is completed, review all aspects of pharmaceutical care and ensure flow of patients through their hospital admission and discharge.
You will support the medicines optimisation strategy and clinical governance processes and be a role model for others. Most importantly you will be providing pharmacy-related advice to the multidisciplinary team reviewing medicines-related DATIX’s , while focusing on the patient experience.
Your role will be key to ensuring safe medicine use with aging and complex medicine areas.
You will be actively involved in quality improvement work and audit and support the team to ensure we deliver our objectives.
