Job description

Optimise cost effective prescribing across the interface to ensure equitable access of medicines across the Nottinghamshire health community. Facilitate the implementation of APC guidelines and formulary decisions working with all relevant clinicians across the health community to ensure efficient and timely uptake to safeguard the outcomes and efficiency savings predicted. To work with commissioners to identify commissioning barriers which may block the effective implementation of Area Prescribing Committee outputs. To audit and monitor the outputs of the Area Prescribing Committee agenda and to tackle prescribing which is not as expected following policy or guideline change.
