Position: Clinical Lead
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary - £53K - £55K
Hours: 40 hours (Includes alternate weekends and some on-call)

I have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse (RGN) looking to take the next step in their career. A Clinical Nurse Specialist post has become available within a well-established care home rated 'Good' by the CQC with a fantastic care provider. The home is a beautiful, purpose built care home that looks after residents Elderly/Dementia residents that may also have physical disabilities or sensory impairments.
There will be some supernumerary time as the Clinical Lead will be responsible for agreed delegated duties e.g. Auditing, Pre-Assessments of potential future residents, rota management, training etc.

Role Requirements:
- To lead/ support a team of clinical and support staff
- To oversee care plans
- Assist with training and HR and to keep up to date with post-registration training
- Support the management team
- Ensure high care standards are met on a day to day basis
- Maintaining the safe custody, administration and storage of medication
- Assessment of residents’ needs, production and implementation of Care plans and accurate documentation on residents’ records.
Qualification/Skill Requirements:
- Active UK Nurse Pin - RGN
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Current senior experience within a Care Home setting - Essential
