A exciting opportunity to join our supportive and friendly team in the Emergency Surgical Ambulatory Care (ESAC) Clinic based on Surgical Admissions Unit at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
ESAC is an acute general surgical clinic that provides high quality patient care and reduces surgical hospital admissions. The clinic is consultant led and runs in the morning Monday to Friday.
This is a permanent position which requires a hard working, reliable, flexible, organised and excellent communicator. We are looking for a highly motivated professional who has experience in surgical nursing. This role also involves being able to work within a small team, delivering a high standard of patient care.
The successful candidate must be competent in performing vital signs, completing NEWS scoring, screening for sepsis, venepuncture, cannulation, performing ECG's and wound care. They must have excellent communication and organisational skills and will need to help run our daily clinic and help organise patients for urgent surgery.
