Are you bursting with ideas to achieve clinical and client excellence? Would you be excited to shape a Veterinary Practice to achieve your vision?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director to join our team here at Unicorn Vets. You would be based across all three surgeries, leading the team into the future along with the Practice Director and be responsible for both the clinical and financial performance of the group. Day to day you would undertake a clinical role including surgery and consultations with a varied caseload, as well as mentor other members within the team and set clinical objectives to achieve best practice in patient and client care.
Fix or flex – work life balance that works for you – No weekends or OOH
Typically, the full-time position is 40 hours per week, spread over 4 or 5 days with a mix of earlies and lates (latest finish is 7pm). There are no weekends or OOH associated with this role. However, we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance. Whether you need to do the school pick up, need reduced hours during school holidays or would simply like a more flexible rota pattern, we can look to fix or flex our patterns to suit you.
Package
- The salary will be up to £80,000 depending on experience.
- Relocation Allowance up to £5,000
- Generous Welcome Bonus
Join our long-established practice located in a great part of the world
Unicorn Vets is a group of three practices that has been in the Southampton area for over 30 years. We have a good, loyal client base with a strong focus on patient welfare and high clinical standards. The practice fosters a very supportive and caring environment where real emphasis is placed on ensuring a great work/life balance for all of the team.
The Fairfield surgery is on the outskirts of the idyllic South Downs with rivers and forests, while also being a 20-minute drive from Winchester. The Park surgery is a stone's throw from Southampton Common and has a good selection of shops and restaurants. You can also easily hop on a train to be in Central London, or head in the opposite direction and explore the beautiful New Forest with all its nature walks and village pubs. Our Ashurst surgery is located in the middle of The New Forest with a pub and train station right next door. Each area is home to excellent schools and are all lovely places to set up home.
Park branch is currently in the process of achieving cat-friendly accreditation and Fairfield branch is officially a cat-friendly clinic.
