Latimer Hinks is one of the North East’s leading niche law firms focusing extensively in private client work, all aspects of property work, farms and estates.
Our open and collaborative culture, and our commitment to providing legal services of the highest standards and truly specialising in our fields, have been key to the firm’s success such that we are experiencing significant organic growth and demand for our expertise.
Accordingly, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full time private client solicitor with a genuine interest in estate, wealth and tax planning to join our extremely busy team which serves clients across the UK and beyond.
Candidates will not be expected to bring clients and caseloads with them, as is often the case with other firms. Again, due to the demand for our services from new and existing clients and professional referrers, the successful applicant with have access to immediate and high quality work involving family/wealth protection and strategic planning, the creation and administration of trusts, probate matters and the administration of estates, Court of Protection and elderly client/capacity matters. We have built a strong reputation for handling complex work and have particular expertise in dealing with complicated estates and trusts for individuals, farmers, landowners and business owners
The successful candidate will ideally be looking to make the next step in their professional career and will be seeking to join and contribute to a highly ambitious and dynamic team. They will share our drive and commitment to want to set the bar in their field and will believe, as we do, in continual self-improvement and growth.
It is preferred that applicants will be STEP qualified or at the very least studying for their qualifications – currently, all our private client lawyers are either fully accredited members of STEP or studying for the same.
The number of years of qualification is not decisive due to our open and supportive environment. Ongoing training, mentoring, development and supervision is, of course, vital to how we operate.
If you are motivated to progress your career and be part of the firm’s plans for expansion and join a vibrant team with a genuine passion and determination for what we do, we would love to hear from you.
