Ameresco Leeds

Located just outside of Leeds UK, is our office that provides award winning management consultancy, specialising in energy. It provides strategic advice, risk management, energy analytics and energy optimisation services to clients throughout the UK. Ameresco are going through an exciting period of planned growth and are looking to recruit a Client Services Analyst for our UK operation in Yorkshire.

Ameresco UK have a unique combination of energy industry, trading, financial and engineering expertise (developed at Yorkshire Electricity, Scottish Power, Npower, BP and Ernst & Young) that ensures we bring a multi-disciplined approach to the optimal procurement, planning and ongoing management of energy costs, usage and associated carbon emissions.

Role Scope

The Billing Analyst would be working within the Client Services team, alongside client services to undertake a range of activities for Ameresco’s clients, including such tasks as power/gas/water bill validation, historical bill validation and ad-hoc consumption analysis. The role requires the ability to think creatively and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. It requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects. The Billing Analyst will report to the Operations Director, working on a team and individual workload basis to support the delivery arms of the Client Services team and the overall business.

The role requirements are

Ability to help lead and support the team in building and maintaining a good working relationship with Ameresco’s key utility supplier base
Ability to help lead and support the team in creating/maintaining bill validation reports for Ameresco Ltd’s clients
Potentially lead and support other ad-hoc energy solutions based workstreams where required
Team player with the intellectual rigour, attention to detail and personality to command respect internally and externally
Ability to plan teams and own work in a structured and prioritised way in line with business demands and client needs
Ability to effectively perform analysis on a range of data within excel and other systems used within the business

Minimum Qualifications

All applicants must have a least 2 years relevant experience.
