CBIS is seeking an Associate who will be responsible for the preparation of all documents required for signatory amendments, name/address change, transfer of accounts and any other documentation related inquiries. The associate will also be responsible for transactional research, maintenance of accounts and services to ensure compliance for JPMorgan clients across various locations. This role educates clients as well as internal partners on various aspects and requirements of the authorization and Treasury Services product documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: frequent interaction with external clients and internal partners, working with various areas of the bank for client resolution, opening and monitoring cases in Service Portal, following up on requests, and occasional telephone communication. Written communication through email is essential between clients and internal partners at all levels of the firm. In this position you will be responding to a multitude of queries from simple transactional items through treasury product maintenance and more complex problem solving queries from clients and internal partners and will resolve through your research and communicate mostly through email. You will be expected to adhere to all departmental and Commercial Banking guidelines. Core functional responsibilities and expectations include but are not limited to the following:
- Fulfill transaction requests including but not limited to WIRES, ACH, research and any related payment inquiries.
- Manage account maintenance, documentation workflow from creation, collection, and execution
- Manage the documentation process for external clients and internal business partners throughout the documentation life cycle
- Perform required research and assess documentation requirements on internal systems as applicable
- Interface with clients in US and internal service partners in the US, Latin America, Canada, EMEA and Asia Pacific to fulfill documentation inquiries
- Analyze client inquires and issues, determine the appropriate resolution, provide timely follow-up and be accountable for client satisfaction through ownership of the request from initiation to resolution
- Ensure documentation conforms to the Bank’s legal guidelines and policies and standards, including risk mitigation through adherence to the control framework
- Demonstrate creative problem solving and solid judgment/decision making
- Diligent management of risks in processes in a timely manner
- Manage expectations and understanding by establishing clear timelines and managing documentation requirements
- Utilize product knowledge and understanding of differing country and local laws and regulations to action and resolve request appropriately
- Follow established policies, practices and procedures and provide feedback for improvements
- Prioritize daily work to maximize productivity and exceed customer expectations
- Project a confident and processional presence during interactions with clients and service partners
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or knowledge of legal documentation, contracts and complex account products, entity organizational documents, tax documentation and other documentation types
- Bachelor or Arts/Bachelor or Science degree
- Experience in risk awareness and skills to develop and ensure quality program set ups
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
- High level risk awareness
- Judgment and reasoning skills
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills
- Demonstrated team building skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in financial services, if possible Corporate/Commercial Banking
- Knowledge of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment framework and testing
- Ability to provide quantifiable management reporting
- Excellent attention to detail
