Brand new factory / facility / offices near Birmingham Airport : commutable from Solihull, Tamworth, Coventry, Coleshill, Nuneaton. Established over 40 years ago, this multinational business (£30m t/o) has just set up a brand new design & manufacturing facility ; headcount is already up to 25 and they are on course for 50 headcount in the next 18 months. Part of a larger group of companies. You will be part of an exciting start-up journey with the backing of a multinational group.

What we are looking for in this Applications engineer jobs role

• Very varied role
• we are happy to train someone. You will get involved with estimating applications engineering, assessing terms and conditions. It’s very broad and very good for long term development
• ideally you will have electrical engineering skills and want to be commercial / work with customers. This is NOT sales its applications engineering and estimating on switchgear
• You could have experience as an applications engineer, internal sales engineer, proposals engineer or estimator
• Experience is useful but really we want someone who is friendly, humble, agile and flexible. Whilst it’s part of a big group it feels like a fast paced and varied SME.
• Within 15 miles approx. of Solihull / Birmingham airport region – easily accessible from Coventry, Tamworth etc.
