Apprentify are working on behalf of StraightIn to find the next best Trainee Sales Executive!
Roles and Responsibilities:
Starting as a ‘New Business Executive’ you will start by working in a supporting function for the Sales team. Much like the core team of Account Managers, you will be working to generate leads through LinkedIn - but, instead of doing this for external clients, you will be doing this for StraightIn!
Month 1 - 6:
- Creating Lead generation Campaigns for StraightIn
- Handling conversations with potential new clients
- Creating searches on Linkeidn for Key Decision Makers
- Reporting results on a weekly basis to our Sales Director.
At Month 6, you will have the chance to make a decision about whether you would like to progress into Account Management or Sales…
Month 6 -12:
- New Business Lead Generation & Phone Sales, or New Business Lead Generation & Client Account Management (depending on avenue chosen)
- Sales: Cold Calling, Full Sales Calls, Market research
- Account Management: Lead Generation & outreach for clients around the world, Renewal & Upsell calls, Weekly reporting for Clients, Conducting Sales driven conversations through LinkedIn.
After completing your Apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to work with us Full time as an Account Manager or Sales Development Representative!

- 5 GCSEs at C/4 and above including Maths and English (essential)

Training to be provided:
You will undertake the innovative and industry led Apprentify IT Technical Salesperson Level 3 traineeship.
We have designed our programme to offer you distinct routes to focus your career path and specialise in areas such as social selling or account management. These paths are designed to jump start your career and make you stand out in a competitive field increasing your future earning potential.
During the 13 months of training you will learn cutting edge theory and industry practice across eight units:
- The Sales Lifecycle
- Computer Systems and Sales
- The Sales Process
- Product Project
- Sales Ethics and Legalities
- System Security
- Account Management
- The Cloud and Unified Comms.

Salary: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
