Position Overview:
The successful candidate will join the Fixed Income team to work as a Client Portfolio Specialist, representing Neuberger Berman’s suite of Fixed Income Investment strategies across the Institutional and Intermediary channels in the EMEA region.
The key purpose of this role is to work across Fixed Income strategies both internally and externally. Internally you will work closely with the Investment and Client Coverage teams to position the product range and strategies within Institutional and Intermediary clients in EMEA, and externally working with clients across several activities including review, due diligence meetings and new business presentations and finals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Delivering presentations at public conferences and forums on specific Fixed Income topics
- Act as the Interface with all internal departments, including Marketing, Product Development, Performance Analytics and Legal & Compliance to maintain and develop marketing materials.
- Working closely with the RFP Department to ensure accurate, well written responses to new mandate opportunities and questionnaires.
- Thinking strategically about positioning the firm’s fixed income platform – develop market analysis, provide input into new product
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree essential
- Demonstrated relevant experience, preferably within a Product Specialist or Client Portfolio Manager function in Asset Management or Manager Research function in Investment Consulting.
- Technical knowledge of fixed income, extending to the broad range of products and sectors.
