Day to Day Responsibilities include but not limited to:
An understanding of PAYE compliance- Inputting data on to payroll system
- Processing starters and leavers;
- Administration of statutory payments;
- Calculating and processing pro rata calculations;
- An understanding of key filing deadlines
- Administration of Auto Enrolment for workplace pensions;
Qualifications, Experience & Skills required
A proven track record in end to end client payroll processing;- Previous experience of using IRIS (Star Payroll Professional) software;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Attention to detail;
- The ability to work accurately and calmly under pressure;
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team;
- The ability to meet tight deadlines;
- Commitment to team playing;
- Flexibility;
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm;
- Good IT skills – including use of Outlook, Excel & CCH
- Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation:
- Ability to learn quickly
