Your role
Do you have a knack for working to deadlines? Are you incredibly organized, self-motivated and have an eye for detail? Are you a good team-player? Do you have a high client service orientation and high-risk awareness? We are looking for someone like that to:
- review Wealth Management client onboarding due diligence & KYC documents to ensure in accordance with internal and external regulations
- support front office stakeholders when onboarding new business by communicating what CDD & KYC is required for the varying client structures managed
- process the client data into the location core banking application to create the client account and investment portfolios
- ensure that the document records correspond with data in our systems
- process reports and end of day controls
- control, mitigate and remediate Operational risk derived from the team.
- contribute to continuous improvement of processes and services and various projects as required
Your team
You will be an integral team member in the Client & Credit Facilitation (Onboarding) team in Jersey. This close-knit team is responsible for opening new accounts, reviewing and processing any new/amended documentation including tax documents, processing credit requests, static data maintenance and any initial /subsequent queries that may arise. You will be based in the new modern building at the Jersey International Financial Centre and be required to have close links with other areas of the bank.

Your expertise
Ideally you will have:
You are:
- a comprehensive understanding of KYC/AML requirements covering simple & complex structures
- a good understanding of current regulatory requirements
- previous onboarding experience (ideally obtained in a Banking / Trust environment)
- the ability to identify, anticipate and take ownership of problems
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information to colleagues and stakeholders where required whether verbally or in report format
- proven experience in client service (ideally obtained in a Banking / Trust environment)
You are:
- a self-starter who can work well with minimal supervision (you can micromanage yourself)
- a skilled written and verbal communicator with people at all levels
- a dedicated team player with a can-do attitude and strong inter-personal skills
- able to prioritize workload to meet internal SLAs whilst managing multiple priorities
- flexible as required with working hours on occasion
