The opportunity:


This is an exciting opportunity to join Zurich’s risk management team, Zurich Resilience Solutions, working as a Client Development Executive focussed on managing and retaining an existing client portfolio in addition to identifying and securing new consultancy opportunities. This is the perfect role for an insurance or risk management professional with a client facing background with ambitions to join an award-winning risk engineering team to support our continued growth.


This position is home based however there will be a requirement to create relationships in the local market which will mean spending regular time in our London office and travelling to customer locations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver growth and generate business opportunities in the Property sector
  • Work with our existing and new Clients and Brokers to understand their business needs
  • Demonstrate strong team working ability in order to create excellent relationships to ensure the business achieves defined goals and targets.
  • Present our technical capabilities across Property to key customers and stakeholders in the London market.
Experience required:

  • A strong commercial business development background and the ability to manage and retain an existing portfolio of clients.
  • Be able to generate new opportunities and follow these up to build a strong pipeline.
  • Demonstrate strong team working ability in order to create excellent internal and external relationships to ensure the business achieves defined goals and targets.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Stakeholder management
And what would really make you stand out is if you have:
  • Broking or Consulting experience
  • Property & Business Interruption commercial insurance experience
  • Knowledge of risk management and loss prevention practices for Property and Business Interruption risks
  • Appreciation of building design, construction and fire detection, protection and suppression systems
