Description
This exciting opportunity which will see you working within a team to deliver excellent customer service in relation to the client banking and reconciliation activities within the Business Operations department.
The successful candidate will join a well established team, whose responsibility is to ensure that customer money (for all People's Partnership products) is collected, held, invested, and paid out in a controlled, low risk and efficient way, with all funds reconciled daily. To be successful in this role you will need to have a high attention to detail, all work is checked by the team, meaning you will also be involved in checking other team member's work.
Duties and Responsibilities
To perform banking & reconciliation activities for all payment types and all products (Incoming and Outgoing payments) TPP, EB and COPS.
DD Set up, chaser, updates (ADDACS) Ras declaration, AML checks and source of fund check for Individual and Employer DD’s.
Daily bank reconciliations activities
Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements, including automatic enrolment, TPR, FCA, DWP, HMRC, DPA.
Adhere to Company Risk Management policy and procedures, including reporting of incidents or breaches.
Take responsibility for own learning and development, keeping up to date with all pensions, product, policy, procedural and regulatory developments as well as wider industry awareness and make full use of available structured learning opportunities.
The team currently work on a hybrid work pattern with a minimum of one day in the office. As there needs to be 1 person in the office each day to cover the work, there may be some days you will be asked to go into the office to cover at short notice due to last minute emergencies or sickness, flexibility and a team attitude is key to this role. Of course, if you would prefer to be in the office more often that is no problem at all, and this can be accommodated.
