Tadpole Swim School, Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire provide high quality specialised swimming classes for babies, toddlers and primary aged children up to 12 years old. Tadpole Swim School teaches 1500+ swimmer each week across 9 sites.
Tadpole Swim School Client Administration Assistant and Swimming Instructor – Dual Role

We are looking for an individual that would like to combine those skills and passions into one dual role – joining us as both an administrator and a swimming teacher.
Administration Assistant Element
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to work effectively either a part of a team or individual
- The ability to build a rapport quickly over the telephone
- Good written communication skills
- An understanding of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word & Excel
- Be able to work in an accurate, organised and structured way, that others can follow
- Full driving license
- A clean DBS Responsibilities
- To develop positive, trusting relationships with clients
- To answer client phone calls and deal with daily enquires and issues as they arise.
- To use our in-house client database effectively (full training will be provided)
- To be responsible for effectively managing sales for swimming products
- To meet and greet new beginners during their first week of term
- To provide back up and support to the whole team
- Assist in running the Disability Swim Sessions
- Any other duties as may be deemed appropriate
Swimming Teaching Element This highly rewarding role involves teaching all of our age groups, across our planned curriculum, and is open to both qualified Swimming Teachers and those without previous experience. All applicants will require internal training alongside our teachers to learn our highly specialised lesson plans.
For those not yet qualified, you will be expected to obtain the STA Level 2 CERTIFICATE in Swimming Teaching, alongside undertake our internal training program.
We currently run lessons throughout the year in Hindhead, Odiham, Woking, Farnham, Bagshot, Guildford, Frimley, Alton and Ewshot. Our ideal candidate will love working with children of all ages, love the water and believe passionately in the importance of swimming. Excellent communication skills, plenty of enthusiasm, reliability and flexibility are also essential qualities.
Salary:
Highly competitive – negotiable based on experience and qualifications in both areas (office and teaching.)
Anticipated Vacancy Hours (subject to change):
Office Hours in Borrdon and Teaching Hours including setting up and packing away at one of our 9 venues.
Monday: (O) 10.30-3.15pm (T) 4.30-6.30pm
Tuesday: (O) 10.30-3.15pm (T) 4.30-6.30pm
Wednesday: (O) 10.30-3.15pm (T) 4.30-6.30pm
Friday (O) 10.30-3.15pm (T) 4.30-6.30pm
Saturday (T) 8.15 – 2.30pm
